Mystery Drawings Have Commenced

People love a good surprise, myself included, and prove they do by the success of blind-boxed mini figures such as the Beast Buddies. Because of this, I thought it would be fun to start making Mystery Drawings. These are 5"x7" graphite illustrations that I make when you order them. Untitled Pencil Drawing

After working on commissioned pieces throughout the day, I sometimes take a drawing board into the living room in the evenings. You see, I'm one of those people who has a lot of trouble just sitting and watching TV. If I'm not doing something with my hands I will fidget. While my wife is watching a program usually consisting of singing, dancing, or house hunting, I with tool away on a drawing so we can still chat but I won't go crazy staring at the plasma. The drawing you see here is one that was created in the way I have described above.

Fellow artist Aaron Jasinski has inspired me to create a series of art paying homage to my other creative love: MUSIC. Since I was a full-time musician before becoming a full-time artist, my love for music should naturally be represented in my art. Jaskinski has been doing this for a while, and I decided I've been waiting too long.
