As some of you know, I am obsessed with color. It hasn't always been this way, though. When I first started to get "serious" about art and spending hours on end drawing in my room with Metallica cassette tapes blaring in my ears, my number one tool was ink. These days, in order to cleanse my psychedelic pallet, I'm splashing in a few black and white drawings on mid toned paper. I've been traveling the country lately by car, which means a good deal of time in hotels/motels, which means a good deal of time with a sketchbook. On top of that, I've done the Albuquerque Comic Expo and New West Fest in Fort Collins, CO so those weekend-long events also provide some decent time for sketching.
