DC Comics Marker Sketches

While showing art at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention a couple weeks ago I sketched out the top drawing above of Batman. The collector who ended up acquiring the drawing commissioned the Catwoman and Nightwing drawings shown here as well. Each one is 5"x7" Sharpie marker on bristol. I grew up looking at comic books and trying to learn from the artwork in them. It's still a lot of fun for me to draw comic book characters so if you have some you'd like drawn, send me an email! ~ bryancollinsart@gmail.com

I'm still enjoying drawing on these papers that I've watercolored. It's been fun working with a variety of media. I'll probably keep doing it for a while.

5"x7" watercolor, ink, marker, and pencil on watercolor paper.

Today's daily drawing is a mock-up for a sticker I am having made. The original drawing is available (marker on 5"x7" bristol) and the stickers will be available mid February.

I received a request for another "Round Owl", similar to a previous one. Like the other, this is 5"x7" acrylic, ink, and marker on brisol.
