Ever since getting a couple of mid-toned sketchbooks I've been bitten by the ink bug. I used to draw almost exclusively in ink back when I first started to fall in love with drawing, so it's been nice and nostalgic to get back into it. With this drawing I wanted to play around a little with proportions and used the opportunity to also try out some texture ideas in the guy's cap and neck warmer. Blue Sketches

I've been carrying a small sketchbook around with me lately. I don't leave the house much during the day since I work from home in my studio, but I've had family in town and we've been out and about so I've been squeezing in time to do some sketching on the go. These two guys are now living in that sketchbook. The paper is odd, measuring about 4.5"x6.75" with two round corners. If you are interested in them I will mat them to a 5"x7" so they can be framed.
