Beast Buddies 1 through 4

Here's a group shot of the first Beast Buddies. I have decided to paint 100 of them, and I'm giving away FREE stuff with them, too. With a random number generator ( Random.org ) I have designated 16 boxes to hold a secret Golden Ticket. If you find a Golden Ticket when you open your Beast Buddies, you have won a FREE 8"x10" signed print ($12 value), a FREE limited edition T-Shirt ($18 value), or a FREE hand painted Munny! ($150 value).

Since I know which Beast Buddies will come with a Golden Ticket, and I know how many I have made and sold, I also know that NO Golden Tickets have gone out yet, so your chances of winning keep getting better!

Into The Darkness group toy show

Here's the flyer for an upcoming group show at the 1:AM (1st Amendment) Gallery in San Francisco, California. Participating artists include - 64 Colors, ADDEccenteric, Aeirsick, Albert Art, AttemptedArtistry, Ayleen Gaspar, Boompooper, brainstrikers, ARTDENKA, Brian Colin, BrownKidd, Bryan Collins, Catherine J. Cruz, Collin David, Cris Rose, D-LuX, DrilOne, Flyin Bear, George Gaspar, Hariken, InfamousAdam, Jenny Wolf, Jon Paul Kaiser, KaroGaro, Kat Brunnegraff, Keith Poon, Kel7alpha, Kelly Vetter, Leecifer, Leonard Amaral, Lily Black, Lunabee, Lysol, Max Bare, MeSmithy, Mike Maraldo, Nathan Lumm, Nerviswr3k, OsirisOrion, Patrick Francisco, Phoneticontrol, Pretty Poopie, RazhoR, REdYOdA, Robot Octopus, rustedhalo, Three, TIBONG, Trevor Zammit.

Here's the concept drawing I created for the piece I am sending to the show. He's called "A Few Loose Screws". I am literally applying a few loose screws to his head. And, since the show is called "Into The Darkness", I decided to write down all the things that scare me, cut them into little slips of paper, and insert them into the toys head. They are incredibly difficult to get back out without damaging the finished toy, so I am hoping they will stay in there forever.

If you are in San Francisco on June 5th, swing by the show. There are a lot of great artists participating and some of the toys should be extremely impressive.

Coldest Dunny in the world!

This is a sketch for a custom 3" Dunny that I just completed, but I won't post pics of the painted piece until the collector receives it in the mail. Why is it the coldest in the world? Well, since this Dunny is #2 in my series of Beast Buddies, he needed to be named after a region or place. I painted him in glacier blue, so I did some quick research to find the coldest mountain in the world, which is Vinson Massif in Antarctica. Named after the mountain, this is the coldest Dunny in the world.

If you want a surprise blind-box Beast Buddies Dunny for yourself, get them at www.bryandrinkscoffee.com in the SHOP, or at Etsy.

Dunny BEAST BUDDIES are here!

Beast Buddies are here!

It took an entire team of monster hunters to wrangle these little guys and get them packed into their boxes, but it's finally done! While dressing our wounds we discovered these little guys can guzzle an entire cup of coffee in one sip if you look away, so guard yours with care.

Inside each box you will find a 3" custom vinyl Dunny, hand painted with acrylics and clear coated with a glossy shine. You also get the original pencil drawing concept used to plan out your Beast Buddies (includes the name of your Buddy), and a bryandrinkscoffee.com sticker. Each one of my Beast Buddies is an original and is a mystery until you open it. Hunt down as many as you like!

Why are Beast Buddies mysteriously packaged like this? One reason is that we don't know which ones we will come across on our hunts. They are elusive little monsters! Another reason is that once they are captured, we can't risk them getting loose, so the box gets sealed right away. The third reason is that surprises and just so much fun.

*PLEASE NOTE - The Dunny you see in the photos is just an example of Beast Buddies. That little guy is named "Appalachia" and he has already found a home. Your Beast Buddies will be the same shape and size, but no two Beast Buddies are identical in design or color. Each one is as unique as you are!

Get your Beast Buddies at www.bryancollins.cartfly.com or at www.bryancollins.etsy.com

$1 ORIGINAL drawing auction

A new $1 original drawing auction is now in progress at my Myspace blog. The first bidder could win for just a dollar! That's like trading me a nasty McDonald's grease burger for an original work of art.

What's at stake here is the original line drawing used to create the limited edition Coffee Girls shirts currently available at www.bryandrinkscoffee.com in the SHOP.

Go to www.myspace.com/godstattooguy and click the "$1 ORIGINAL drawing" blog for all the details. Have fun!

Custom 3" Dunny

This little guy is currently coming to life on a Kidrobot 3" Dunny. (Thanks to Reactor88 www.reactor88.blogspot.com for the blank Dunny template.) The colors are still to be determined, but I am currently working with yellow oxide, unbleached titanium, and cobalt green.

If you want a custom monster buddy Dunny to keep you company, just send me a 3" Dunny (any one will do) with $35 (Paypal or cash) and I will create a one-of-a-kind little guy just for you. Email art@bryandrinkscoffee.com for the mailing address to send your Dunny.

Oops, it's trying to drink my coffee. Gotta go.
