Sally Nightmare Before Christmas Art

Like so many other people who make art in my genre, the works of Tim Burton have been a large influence in my own creations. This being the 20th anniversary year of The Nightmare Before Christmas, I've been really wanting to make an homage piece for the film. Finally, in the last month of 2013, I slipped one in.

I needed to knock this out in one day, due to Christmas commissions needing to be completed, so I cranked away on this for about 11 hours straight and completed it on schedule. The finished piece is 6"x12" colored pencil and acrylic on wood. Let me know if you think I should do more "Nightmare" art!

I always have fun doing these renditions of comic book characters. This commissioned "Punisher" is a 5"x7" colored pencil drawing on illustration board. If you're thinking about commissioning me for an original piece, don't hesitate to send an email ~ bryancollinsart@gmail.com

Mystery Monster 06 Video

One half of the June 28th Mystery Monsters are colored! I recorded the 6th of 12 being made and posted it on my YouTube channel in time-lapse. This is a little more than four hours of coloring condensed into just over 6 minutes.

This and eleven other original monster drawings will be released on June 28th, 2013. See this post for more details.
