I have a lot of unfinished work in my studio, some of which dates back multiple years. This piece was started about two years ago when I did a little series of small monster paintings on re-purposed wood. I decided to put aside a couple of hours to get this particular one finished. New Drawings

One of my favorite things about exhibiting at Comic Book Conventions is being able to draw live for people who are curious about the process of making art. While showing work at the Long Beach Comic Con (Oct 29-30, 2011) I came up with these two ACEO drawings which were small enough to complete while people were watching. Small Insect Paintings

A while back I posted some in-progess shots of insect paintings I was making on wood. I finally finished all four and would like to share them with you. Each one is painted with acrylics and is approximately 3.5"x3.5". The wood they are painted on was left over from one of my home improvement projects. Rather than throwing the wood away, I made some art with it. Each piece is untitled.
