Lately I've been back into monsters, especially since I am showing work in the "It's ALIVE!!!" exhibit at Rendition Gallery. I love monster portraits because their expressions are so interpretive and the ability to play with color on them is limitless. Three of the four pieces above have been painted on upcycled wood from one of my home improvement projects!
