July Art Challenge 21
Rounding out Video Game Week in my July Art Challenge is Garrus from Mass Effect. He was certainly one of the most challenging of Video Game Week, with Pharah a close tie. The purpose of this July project was to push myself to create a drawing every day that someone else chose for me to do. Sometimes we just want to create from what we know and I wanted to move beyond that. Drawing in our comfort zone is not always taking the easy road, but certainly the familiar one. This challenge brought me out of that zone and was a great confidence builder.

July Art Challenge 18, 19, 20
Video games are not just a life-long vice that have occupied far too many hours of my time, but they are a great source of inspiration, stress relief, and intrigue. Continuing with Video Game Week from the July Art Challenge, here are Rydia (Final Fantasy), Pharah (Overwatch), and Haunter (Pokemon). They are all 5"x7" Sakura Pigma Micron ink and watercolor on Strathmore 400 Series Mixed Media paper. July Challenge 15, 16, 17
Here it is the end of November and I am still rolling out the finished pieces from the July Art Challenge! These three pieces were the first in week three, which was video game week. It also happened that the first three were Super Mario characters so I've grouped them together here for you.

Super Mario for MegaCon 2014
As I am getting prepared for MegaCon 2014 my mind is on making new video game art and being able to price them so that MegaCon attendees can grab some original work without maxing out their budgets. This 5"x7" Super Mario illustration is matted to 8"x10" and available for just $50 and is available now through my SHOP. If this piece sells before MegaCon fear not...there will be more.
