Black Widow Spider Drawing

I've never been afraid of spiders, but I realize how many people can be. Some of that fear could be innate, but I believe most of it stems from a lack of information. Makers of movies and television, creators of Halloween décor, and general mythology form our fears of arachnids. Some spiders do pose serious threats, but most are truly harmless and, moreover, extremely beneficial to the world as a whole.

Did you know, for example, that male Black Widow Spiders carry no toxins, and that bites from the female are rarely fatal? Sure, you still don't want one to bite you, but just staying away from these creatures is enough. They won't chase you down and attack you.
