Lots of new memo pads

I have been experimenting with ways to put my paintings and illustrations on notebooks and memo pads. These are the results. I can now offer any of my work on these 3"x5" pads and offer quality detail at the same time, all for $5 each! 70 sheets of college ruled paper inside, just waiting for your thoughts and to-do lists. My first ever original memo pad

I've been inspired lately to create items other than traditional paintings and illustrations. I finished painting a vase today, which was sculpted by the talented Erin Mortensen, and it got me thinking about other ways to push my work to the next level. Modofly recently began publishing hardback journals and sketchbooks with two of my paintings as covers, and this project gave me the idea to offer some similar items along side of these.



What you see here is a converted 60 page memo pad that measures 3 inches wide by 4.75 inches high. The cover was made from a piece of salvaged wasabi colored mat board. The illustration is pen and ink. This is the first one, with the second almost finished, and a third to be finished possibly by tomorrow. These will only be available through my Etsy shop, so if you do not have an Etsy account and want to purchase this or another original journal/memo book, email me at art@bryandrinkscoffee.com and I will send you a Paypal invoice. $17 plus shipping/handling.

This piece was very fun to make. I am excited to get the rest finished and posted!

Available reservations for Coffee Girls

For the rest of this year I will be making one Coffee Girl each month, named for the month. Each one measures 5"x7" and is Prismacolor pencil on cold press illustration board. These will be the LAST Coffee Girls I will make so that a fresh new series can begin.

If you want to reserve one of these remaining Coffee Girls, please message me. I will take a $50 deposit (through Paypal) to hold the piece for you and you will be guaranteed to own the Coffee Girl for the month of your choice. THESE ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE and no month will be duplicated; just one piece per month. The final price for the art by itself is $125 or I will have the piece custom matted and framed with non-glare glass for a total of $175. Payments can be made during the time you are waiting for your piece to be complete, so the farther out your month is, the more time you will have to pay. Please message before you send a deposit, just to make sure the month you want is still available.

January of 2010 will be the last piece in this unexpectedly successful series, then I will create a final 18"x24" Coffee Girl to close out the concept. This piece is available for reserve as well, at a price of $1450.00. A $500 deposit will hold it for you. I will post updated bulletins when months are claimed. Message me NOW if you want your birthday month or some other special month reserved.
