"And That One Word Echoed Like A Fortress"

36"x24" Acrylic on canvas. I created this piece to express a moment in spiritual warfare. Sometimes I can feel so overwhelmed by the attacks of Satan. Sometimes I worry that I am fighting the battle alone, even though I know that is not the truth. Like David with his one stone that clobbered Goliath, this boy has one arrow. Somehow, unknown to him, the miracle of God will fight in his place and defeat the demons with this single arrow. Faith conquers all.

I have just been inducted into the permanent collection of artists at the Art Whino gallery in Alexandria, VA. The reception will take place on February 22nd, 2008. The show will feature the art of JoKa, and 12 other artists will be inducted with me. I will not be able to attend the show personally, but I will have five paintings there in my place :)
